“When it comes to Obamacare, it’s clear that the American people simply can’t trust this White House,” said Speaker of the House John Boehner, citing President Obama’s broken promises about keeping premiums low, keeping your health insurance plan, and keeping information confidential.
Boehner then said the House would act on the bill proposed by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) that would allow Americans to keep their health insurance plans. He added that President Obama would not be able to solve any of the Obamacare problems administratively: “No one can identify anything the president could do to keep his pledge that would be both legal and effective. Promise after promise from this administration has turned out to be untrue.”
He added, “The only way to fully protect the American people is to scrap this law, once and for all. There is no way to fix this.”
