Reports indicate three Brashear High School students were shot today “when a gunman came out of the woods and shot [at the] students on Crane Avenue near the… school.”
The students were shot after school had been dismissed for the day. Their injuries are not life-threatening, and the motive for the shooting is not known.
CBS Pittsburgh reported that the head of one of the victims–a 17 year-old male–was grazed; he is in the hospital “in stable condition.”
After the shots were fired, the three victims ran back to the school, entered it, and sought help.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the shooter or shooters are still being sought.
