While speaking on a conference call to Catholic clergy members on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden inexplicably uttered unsuitable language while referring to a US Congressman.
Reacting to the assertion that Steve King (R-Iowa) made regarding illegal immigrants carrying drugs across the US southern border, Biden condescended, “He may be a good Christian, but his comments sure the hell aren’t, excuse my language.”
Prone to making these types of faux pas (remember “This is a big f—— deal”), the Vice President’s comments seem even more inappropriate given his audience.
Additionally, Biden fears that immigration reform may be defeated as was recent gun control legislation. He begged the religious leaders to help pass “common sense” immigration reform. Biden told the clergy to call their congressional representatives and “give them a little bit of love and appeal to their better angels, the better angels of those who are still on the fence to take a politically courageous decision.”
