On Monday, the day before Virginia’s gubernatorial election, Vice President Joe Biden conceded that Tea Party supporters in Virginia will turn out on election day and warned Democrats not to take Democrat Terry McAuliffe’s fading lead over Republican Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli for granted.
“There’s only one place the tea party can compete with us, and that is they do turn out their base,” Biden said at a campaign event for McAuliffe in Annandale, Virginia. “Don’t take this for granted, man.”
On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Virginia political analyst Shaun Kenney predicted that Cuccinelli, who beats McAuliffe when it comes to the “enthusiasm gap” among their respective supporters, would have a chance to win if turnout is low and his base turns out in force.
Kenney predicted that turnout would be around 35%–the State Board of Election has pegged that the number will be somewhere between 30% to 40%.
“There is very little enthusiasm for McAuliffe in Virginia,” Kenney said on Breitbart News Sunday.
