The woman who was the face of ObamaCare has disappeared from the site, and her identity has been hushed up so well that despite efforts by networks as large as CNN, she remains anonymous. Instead of being emblazoned with the young woman’s picture, the healthcare.gov website now features four logos that lead to different paths to apply for insurance coverage, including by phone, by the internet, with a paper application and registering in person.
There was also a couple featured who have also vanished; the images now are circles that indicate individuals and families.
The Department of Health and Human Services remains mum; spokesman Richard Olague told Buzzfeed, “The woman featured on the website signed a release for us to use the photo, but to protect her privacy, we will not share her personal or contact info with anyone.”
