Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) said the message conservatives are sending to Washington is being heard and the same type of opposition to Syria is needed to defund Obamacare.
Speaking to Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on Breitbart News’s broadcast of the “Exempt America” rally, Yoho said a month ago President Barack Obama intended to take Americans to war in Syria, but the voices of the American people were heard through their Representatives in Congress.
He agreed that conservatives have been successful in pushing back against gun control and amnesty in addition to intervention in Syria.
“The message is coming up here,” Yoho said
In Congress, Yoho said he has seen a “lack of leadership” for the “direction and vision for America” and called Obamacare “legislative malpractice” and “the worst bill.” He said popular pressure should stall its implementation like it has stopped the Obama administration’s plans on Syria, which he said 98 percent to 99 percent of his constituents were against. Yoho endorsed Rep. Tom Price’s (R-GA) alternative bill to fix Obamacare.
