Trump: Rove Wasted $400M on 'Worst Ads I've Ever Seen'

Donald Trump blasted Republican consultant Karl Rove for wasting over $400 million on ads during the 2012 election that he said were terrible and ineffective. 

Speaking at the Family Leadership Summit on Saturday in Iowa, Trump asserted that Rove–and his Crossroads GPS group–threw $400 million “out the window.”

“They were the worst ads I’ve ever seen,” Trump said. “I know something about ads.”

He said even though the Republican Party generally runs bad ads, Rove’s were even more “terrible.”

“All of the ads were so bad,” Trump said.
