Anthony Weiner: '100 Percent NOT' Sexting Anyone Right Now

Anthony Weiner has said unequivocally that he is “100 percent not” sexting anyone these days and hasn’t for about a year.

The Mayoral hopeful sat down with New York’s NBC TV 4 and told them that he deleted all records having to do with his sexting activities.

“I don’t have any of the records,” Weiner said in the interview. “I deleted everything.”

In the past he’s said that there may be more women out there who do have such records, however. Thus far, at least half a dozen or so women been identified as Weiner sexting partners, some of whom he communicated with even after he left Congress after his first sexting revelation.

The candidate himself said that he may sexted with as many as ten women online, but he couldn’t really remember how many.

“It’s not dozens and dozens,” Weiner said on July 25. “It’s six to ten, I suppose, but I can’t tell you absolutely what people are going to consider inappropriate or not.”

During the latest interview Weiner pleaded for everyone to just move on from his many scandals and said that what he did a year ago shouldn’t matter.

“The behavior that people know about, I did, over an extended period of time, with more than one person,” Weiner said to NBC TV 4. “I just think at a certain point, OK, I think people know these embarrassing things about me. I think at a certain point now we have to have a conversation that goes to, alright, what else should people know?”

When asked if he thought that Hillary Clinton was mad at him over yet another series of scandals, Weiner said, “I have no reason to believe she’s annoyed.”

But ABC News reported that sources close to the Clintons say that the former President and Secretary of State “increasingly see Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign as an embarrassment and potential liability.”

Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, was for years one of Hillary Clinton’s closest confidantes but recent reports say that Huma is now taking an “extended vacation” from her job as Clinton’s chief of staff.
