House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has scheduled a Congressional hearing on July 30 to discuss “race and justice” issues in the context of the George Zimmerman trial.
The hearing, otherwise known as “A Conversation on Race and Justice, will reportedly not be limited to discussions solely about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.
According to the Washington Examiner, Pelosi will preside over the “broader conversation” about race and justice. Scheduled panelists include “Southern Poverty Law Center founder Morris Dees, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson and civil rights lawyer Maya Wiley, president of the Center for Social Inclusion.”
