Sanford PD Turns Over Zimmerman Trial Evidence to Feds

On Monday, local reports suggested that Sanford police turned over evidence from the George Zimmerman murder trial to the Department of Justice and FBI, both of which are investigating Zimmerman for possible federal charges. The evidence includes Zimmerman’s gun, as well as the can of Arizona iced tea and Skittles Martin was carrying when he was shot.
