Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said on Monday that Breitbart News was “doing great work” in getting the truth out about the Senate’s immigration bill and how it would not solve the illegal immigration problem while lowering wages for working class Americans.
Sessions addressed the D.C. March for Jobs on Monday, which was organized by the Black American Leadership Alliance and attracted Americans of all races and backgrounds in opposition to the Senate’s immigration bill. He then spoke to Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon on Breitbart News’ exclusive broadcast of the event.
“Breitbart is doing great work in getting the truth out,” he said.
Sessions said the American people’s voices are being heard on comprehensive immigration reform, and the pendulum is beginning to swing against it.
He said that by publishing information that is not from the special interests and Wall Street that have vested financial interests in getting comprehensive immigration reform passed, Breitbart News is helping educate Americans about comprehensive immigration reform legislation. He said there will be consequences that working class Americans will face if the Senate’s immigration bill is enacted into law.
