Prosecution witness Sanford police officer Doris Singleton, who took George Zimmerman’s initial statement after the killing of Trayvon Martin, testified on Monday that Zimmerman never attempted to stop testimony before police or asked for a lawyer. According to Singleton, he also participated in a re-enactment of the incident voluntarily. She added that Zimmerman shook his head and then dropped it when informed that Martin was dead, and that Zimmerman seemed shocked at the news. She also stated that Zimmerman did not seem angry, spiteful, or upset at Martin.
