A spokeswoman for Sen. Ted Cruz told Breitbart News that her boss might just be suffering from a case of “Obamaphobia,” as Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) diagnosed earlier on Tuesday, depending on what the symptoms of such a condition are.
“If Obamaphobia means fear of government tyranny and the willingness to stand against it, I wouldn’t say that’s inaccurate,” Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said in an email.
Menendez accused Cruz of having “Obamaphobia” for opposing a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants, and saying President Barack Obama is the “biggest obstacle” to passing real immigration reform.
