A Bloomberg National Poll shows Hillary Clinton’s popularity dwindling as the Benghazi scandal unfolds. In December, her favorability rating was 70%; it is now 58%. 22% of Americans view her very unfavorably, as opposed to 11% last December. 40% of Americans say they would vote for her for president, while roughly 33% say they would not.
Only 43% of women would vote for her. Her numbers are high among Democrats, three-quarters of whom would back her, but only 33 percent of independent voters would do so. 47% said they disapprove of how Clinton handled Benghazi, while 34% said they approve.
