Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stated that President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. demonstrated “lack of resolve.” “What do you think the Iranians are thinking?” Graham asked. “At the end of the day, this is the most tone-deaf president I ever could imagine, making such a speech at a time when our homeland is trying to be attacked literally every day.”

Graham was adamant that Obama’s speech, which attempted to reframe the war on terror as a global law enforcement problem and characterize the terror threat as different in kind than it was on September 11, 2001, was a mistake. “I’ve never been more worried about our national security than I am today,” Graham stated. “And this speech didn’t help.”
