Hillary Clinton and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will address the Clinton Global Initiative forum on June 13-14 in Chicago. This will be the first time the former First Lady will speak at the conference, which is sponsored by her husband and will focus on America’s long-term economic recovery.
With Christie and Clinton as headliners, the conference will generate 2016 buzz on both sides of the aisle, as Christie and Clinton are establishment favorites.
Bill Clinton, in a press release, also announced that Chelsea Clinton, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, actress Eva Longoria (who was a co-chair for President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign), and Randi Weingarten (president of the American Federation of Teachers) will speak at the event.
Christie will be one of only two Republicans to address the conference.
