An 80-year old man was fortunate to have his gun with him when five teenagers accosted him on April 11 in the driveway of his Flint, MI home. The man fired two shots at the would-be robbers, who then fled and have not returned since.
The homeowner called police about 9:45 PM to report the incident. He reported that the men were also armed.
He believed one of his shots hit one of the robbers, but no wounded suspect has turned himself into a hospital for treatment.
As of April 14, the suspects have not been found and no arrests have been made.
