On Monday, local Dallas television station CBS 11 reported that Christina Foreman, stepdaughter of slain Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and daughter of his murdered wife Cynthia McLelland, called their killings “domestic terrorism.”

Foreman told CBS 11 “somebody used the word domestic terrorism the other day… You can’t attack a public official like that, especially, and now bring a family member into it, and not really attach that word to it, because that’s what it is.”

Foreman, her relatives, and friends of the family were in Kaufman County, Texas on Monday, where the U.S. Honor Flag was raised at the county courthouse as a tribute to her late step-father and mother. Their bodies were found at their residence on March 30. Immediately thereafter, an intensive investigation involving national, state, and local law enforcement officials was launched.

No suspects have yet been arrested.
