Biden Mocks 'Black Helicopter' Gun Control Skeptics

Joe Biden used his standard technique of mocking the opposition on Tuesday as he gave a gun control speech at the White House. Speaking of those who oppose universal background checks for gun buyers and lambasting the National Rifle Association for promoting a “misinformation campaign” on the issue, Biden patronized with this:

Kinda scary man, the black helicopter crowd is really upset … No way that Uncle Sam can go find out whether you own a gun because we’re about to really take away all your rights and you’re not going to be able to defend yourself and we’re going to swoop down with Special Forces folks and gather up every gun in America. It’s bizarre. But that’s what’s being sold out there.

Biden was joined by Attorney General Eric Holder and assorted law enforcement officials from across the country. Holder famously told an audience in 1995 that the government should “brainwash” people to reject guns.
