“The ideal set up by the Party was … a nation of warriors and fanatics, marching forward in perfect unity, all thinking the same thoughts and shouting the same slogans, perpetually working, fighting, triumphing, persecuting–three hundred million people all with the same face.” — George Orwell, 1984
The calendar says 2013. But as evidenced by shocking videos obtained by Judicial Watch, it’s really George Orwell’s 1984.
Big Brother has finally arrived and is running taxpayer-financed “cultural sensitivity” training programs for government employees inside the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) at a time when the government is stripping our military down to the bare minimum and releasing thousands of illegal alien criminals onto the streets, citing a lack of available funds.
Actually “sensitivity training” doesn’t come close to capturing what took place at this USDA training program. Under the guise of diversity, federal employees are seen on these videos being abused and indoctrinated with racially-divisive clap trap by “diversity awareness trainer” and self-described “citizen of the world” Samuel Betances.
Judicial Watch obtained these videos after being alerted by a USDA whistleblower employee who had to suffer through one of these indoctrination sessions. The video shows Betances demanding that federal employees affirm his remarks with shouts of “Bam!”
At one point, the Betances asks his audience to join him in rewriting history. “I want you to say that American was founded by outsiders – say that,” he shouts, “who are today’s insiders, who are very nervous about today’s outsiders. I want you to say, ‘The pilgrims were illegal aliens.’ Say, ‘The pilgrims never gave their passports to the Indians.'”
Betances also plays the “divide-by-race” card. “By the way, I don’t like the word ‘minorities,'” he tells his government audience. “How about ’emerging majorities?'”
Even with that, Betances was just getting warmed up. And so he leads the audience in a type of forced confession, “I want you to say: ‘If we work for a federal agency.’ Say that. ‘We have discriminated in the past.’ Say: ‘Every federal agency has discriminated against African Americans, Hispanics, Native American Indians, and other groups.'”
By the time he had finished with his rant, Betances – a man who brags that he “was once illiterate in two languages” – had excoriated America’s public schools (“I want all of you to say: ‘Schools are middle class places of learning. Say that.”)
Lest anyone think that Betances’ USDA cultish workshops are an isolated incident, a review of federal contracts for his firm, Souder, Betances and Associates, at www.USASpending.gov reveals that the federal government gave the firm $3,313,244 in contracts over the last decade, $2.8 million of which was through the Department of Defense.
And the Obama administration doesn’t have enough money to deport and keep off the streets illegal alien criminals? Or to adequately fund our military?
It is clear that one brainwashing program is the tip of the iceberg. Federal agencies are wasting money and abusing employees through these left-wing, racially inflammatory indoctrination programs. Sequester that!
