Republican U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy won another House term serving northwestern Wisconsin’s 7th District in Tuesday’s election.
He had been heavily targeted by Democrats with outside money because his seat had been held by Democratic Rep. Dave Obey, who retired in 2010, for 41 years.
Duffy is a former district attorney, who was previously a lumberjack from Ashland. In the 1990s he appeared as a guest on MTV’s “The Real World”.
Duffy has a seat on the House Financial Services Committee.
