(AP) Homeland Security says border patrol agent killed
WASHINGTON
A U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed and another wounded in a shooting near the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, the Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday.

The agents were involved in a shooting near the Brian Terry Station near Naco, Arizona, on early Tuesday.

The wounded agent was airlifted to a hospital after being shot in the ankle and buttocks, according to the department.

The agents were assigned to the Naco, Ariz., station about 100 miles southeast of Tucson.
