Throughout True The Vote‘s brief history, but with increasing frequency in the past days, our organization has been attacked by a well-funded collection of partisan activists, journalists, and marginal agitators with a misguided desire to deny the existence of voter fraud while intimidating those who seek to uphold election law.

The big question is why?

Now, a new “study” casts even more misplaced condemnation over True the Vote’s goals to build a network of volunteers, grassroots groups, local officials, and statewide office holders in an attempt to observe elections across the country.

True The Vote (TTV) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit grassroots organization focused on preserving election integrity, operated by citizens for citizens to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. TTV empowers organizations and individuals across the nation to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation.

True The Vote takes great pride in its effort to make certain that voter registration lists are as accurate as possible, not falsely weighted with the names of dead, non-citizen, and otherwise ineligible voters. Those who are obsessed with name calling and blame casting are in desperate need of an education on federal voting laws, especially Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act.

True The Vote and, by extension, the election integrity movement, have grown at such a rapid rate because our nation demands it. Latest polling shows 74 percent of Americans approve of enhanced voter integrity measures. Those offering outrageous claims that voter fraud does not exist because they are funded to keep the spin alive will continue to be proven wrong.

True The Vote will be out in force this November. Our trained poll watchers will be equipped to challenge wrongdoing in the most efficient and immediate manner possible, with detailed understanding of local law and procedures. Our efforts in 2014, 2016 and beyond will be even greater.
