What’s the newest approach in the email fundraising campaign of Barack Obama? Poor suffering Michelle is sacrificing her seat on the campaign bus so that two lucky winners can join her husband on the campaign trail:
Dear William,
Our family has spent more than a few days on the campaign trail.
We’ve had lots of card games, laughs, and fun family moments on that campaign bus.
Barack is hitting the road again next week, and he’s saving two seats on the bus for a supporter and their guest. We’ll pick the lucky winner in just a few hours.
So make a donation before the big fundraising deadline tonight, and you’ll be automatically entered to join Barack on the road.
The girls and I miss Barack when we’re not on the road with him. But I know he’s looking forward to hanging out with you — so I’ll let you take my seat this time.
Pitch in what you can before tonight’s critical fundraising deadline to be automatically entered to spend some time with Barack on the road:

Thanks, and good luck.
– Michelle
Of course, Michelle is used to taking Air Force One and expensive jets, hanging out in ski resorts in Colorado and fancy hotels in Spain, so the thought of her riding on a rough-and-tumble bus for days garners sympathy points. And it’s similarly important to let Michelle know that we feel her pain at the very thought of Barack being alone out there.
There are two people who would make ideal guests on the Obama campaign bus, sharing Obama’s ideology if not his aesthetic sensibilities: two model members of the Occupy movement, complete with their feces-stained clothes, grime ground in their beards, and body odor that would send skunks running for cover.
Remember, Obama had their backs circa October 2011:
“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side.”
The Obama campaign bus is a risky place, though. Many members of the Obama support club have already found themselves under it. No wonder Michelle doesn’t want to ride.
