A few minutes ago, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), head of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released a statement that, with just 45 minutes left to go before his scheduled meeting with Attorney General Eric Holder, the Department of Justice has not turned over any of the documents they said they would.
There will be a vote in the Committee on Wednesday to give Holder a postponement. In light of the DOJ’s failure to turn in documents prior to Holder’s meeting with Issa and company, that postponement will not be a likely result.
