New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu (R) and other local Romney supporters greeted V.P. Joe Biden when he arrived in N.H., chiding the administration with a comment Biden had made in the 2008 primary. Sununu said after three years in office, Obama still doesn’t have enough experience to be president.
Sununu said he usually disagrees with what Biden says, with one notable exception in 2007, during the Democratic primary, when Biden said Obama wasn’t ready for the presidency. “Even with three years in office, he’s still demonstrating he still doesn’t have enough experience to be president,” Sununu said.
Sununu also took a swipe at both Biden and Obama over their stinginess when it came to charity, pointing out that Romney gave 15% of his income last year to charity. It could have been worse for Biden; he might have been escorted by Hilary Rosen with Ann Romney acting as surrogate for her husband.
Sununu also charged Obama with using class warfare as a political weapon while demonstrating arrogance on tax issues.
