In this Breitbart TV video clip, Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree tells an audience that “we hid” this video of a young Barack Obama introducing an enthusiastic crowd at Harvard Law School to his radical, racialist professor Derrick Bell. Obama defended Bell when the professor took a stand against the faculty for refusing to grant tenure to a professor of female, African-American descent.
Obama attended Harvard Law School from 1988 to 1991 when he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a J.D. In the clip, Obama passionately exclaims:
“Open your hearts and your minds to the words of Professor Derrick Bell,” said Barack Obama as he passionately introduced controversial racialist Derrick Bell.
Later, Professor Charles Ogletree, Barack Obama’s mentor said during a reception he was speaking at:
Of course, we hid this throughout the 2008 campaign… because I just told you that his growth had been astronomical in the terms of his sense about race in the very complex world, trying to deal in the world of law review, the world of Harvard Law School, etcetera.
Before Harvard Obama graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international relations in 1983, worked for one year at the Business International Corporation and then another year at the New York based Public Interest Research Group (PIRG).
He then spent three years in Chicago working for the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church based community program setting up jobs and college tuition programs and tenant rights programs. In 1989 he worked as a summer associate for the Chicago based law firm Sidley Austin and then Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.
Afterwards, he accepted a two-year fellowship at the University of Chicago in 1991 and then continued teaching in the area of Constitutional Law until 2004. His law license went inactive in 2002.
