While many laughed off Occupy Wall Street and predicted it would not last, the puppet masters have made their next move. We now have the evidence to prove that the early phase of the movement was nothing more than a staging period to build an infrastructure that will culminate in a massive occupation of Chicago this May. The strategy to descend upon Chicago’s NATO/G8 Summits has now been made loud and clear, as evidenced from a recent call to arms for revolutionaries around the world to flock to Chicago in May, as well as details regarding Occupy Chicago’s internal communications provided to RebelPundit.
Yesterday, Adbusters.org, the originators of the initial “Occupy Wall Street” call-to-action, just released its “Tactical Briefing #25,” an international call for radical revolutionaries from around the world to set up a month-long “occupation” (tent city) against the backdrop of the international NATO/G8 Summit.
From Adbusters:
“On May 1, 50,000 people from all over the world will flock to Chicago, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and #OCCUPYCHICAGO for a month. With a bit of luck, we’ll pull off the biggest multinational occupation of a summit meeting the world has ever seen.
“And this time around we’re not going to put up with the kind of police repression that happened during the Democratic National Convention protests in Chicago, 1968 … nor will we abide by any phony restrictions the City of Chicago may want to impose on our first amendment rights. We’ll go there with our heads held high and assemble for a month-long people’s summit … we’ll march and chant and sing and shout and exercise our right to tell our elected representatives what we want … the constitution will be our guide.
“And when the G8 and NATO meet behind closed doors on May 19, we’ll be ready with our demands: a Robin Hood Tax … a ban on high frequency ‘flash’ trading … a binding climate change accord … a three strikes and you’re out law for corporate criminals … an all out initiative for a nuclear-free Middle East … whatever we decide in our general assemblies and in our global internet brainstorm – we the people will set the agenda for the next few years and demand our leaders carry it out.
“And if they don’t listen … if they ignore us and put our demands on the back burner like they’ve done so many times before … then, with Gandhian ferocity, we’ll flashmob the streets, shut down stock exchanges, campuses, corporate headquarters and cities across the globe … we’ll make the price of doing business as usual too much to bear.”
A source affiliated with Occupy Chicago has also revealed to RebelPundit that the Occupy Chicago leadership was totally caught off-guard that this tactical advance was coming from Adbusters; and Occupy Chicago PR is now playing it off as if they were “in-the-know” all along.
We initially reported on Occupy Chicago’s new home in an industrial loft neighborhood on Chicago’s near southside over a month ago. Several “mainstream media” outlets began reporting on the new Occupy lair just last week, but managed to leave out an important little tidbit: the location is conveniently located within walking distance to the McCormick Place convention center, the site the summit is presumed to be held. The “grassroots group” is spending over $5,000 per month on the headquarters and it can accommodate up to 600 people. Was this not an obvious sign of future plans on the horizon?
Is it any wonder that the same week Occupy Chicago secured its lease on a giant warehouse loft, Adbusters put out this grand call? This coordination is a perfect example of the strength of the infrastructure now in place and the ease with which the Occupy puppets are being strung along.
It has also come to our attention that Occupy Chicago is currently debating the adoption of a form of the St. Paul Principles, which they refer to internally as the “Chicago Code.” The St. Paul Principles are a set of principles shared by extreme left-wing radical organizations that call upon them to join in solidarity with each other regardless of the tactics used by any of the groups committed to these principles. The group is scheduled to vote on adoption of the “code” Friday. Once adopted, Occupy Chicago will have little choice but to become occupied by her own masters.
The “Chicago Code”
Together, this call to arms, previously documented build-up of resources and talent in their oversized (and conveniently located near the NATO/G8 site) loft, and the stated desire to renounce all principle in favor of expediency, show that Occupy Wall Street is not going anywhere. That they have publicly stated their willingness to condone any means necessary to achieve the ends they desire, is further evidence that the tactics of Alinsky are dangerously thriving in this group of unprincipled, self-centered, social misfits.
The group will be holding a press conference Friday, January 27, at 1pm at 500 West Cermak Avenue, Suite 700, in Chicago to announce the news of their new headquarters.
Perhaps they will also be willing to discuss their new position on the revolutionary chessboard–Pawns.
