LOS ANGELES, May 28 (UPI) — Chris Pratt’s happy family of three can only get cuter, and he proves it in a video he posted Wednesday of him and his son Jack, 2, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
The video, which was posted on Facebook, shows Pratt standing upright on a picturesque porch with his right hand on his heart, modeling for his son how one should stand when saying the pledge. Little Jack gets some of it right, and as Pratt says each line slowly, his son repeats it to the best of his ability.
The 35-year-old actor posted the video Wednesday with the message: “Meant to post this on #MemorialDay but I was in China and my phone wasn’t working. I’m proud to be American. I’m blessed to get to travel the world! #IPledgeAllegiance.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy star is being considered for the role of Indiana Jones in an upcoming reboot by Lucasfilm, and has been spending a lot of his free time with his family, including wife Anna Faris, 38.
Pratt and Faris met on set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007 and married two years later in 2009. Their son, Jack, was born in 2012, which Faris says caused the couple to bond even further.
