WYGONIN, Poland, Sept. 13 (UPI) —
A helicopter crash near the village of Wygonin in northern Poland, has killed three people, including the husband of a member of parliament, authorities said.
The aircraft crashed in a field, igniting a fire, witnesses said.
Businessman Krzysztof Mielewczyk, husband of Law and Justice Party parliament member Dorota Arciszewska, was a passenger aboard the privately owned helicopter, the Polish press agency PAP reported Friday.
"We found two people in the wreckage of the helicopter with the third passenger lying 5 to 6 meters (16 to 19 feet) away," Tadeusz Kinkosz of the local fire company told the public broadcasting network TVP.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
