LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) —
U.S. President Barack Obama has been booked as a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"
next week, NBC announced Wednesday.
The commander in chief is to appear on Tuesday’s edition of the program "to discuss his second term concentrating on his jobs initiatives and the economy," the network said in a news release.
This will mark Obama’s sixth appearance on "Tonight" — his fourth since taking the office of president of the United States.
His previous appearances were Dec. 1, 2006; Oct. 17, 2007; the historic March 19, 2009 visit where he became the first sitting president to appear on a late-night talk show; Oct. 25, 2011; and Oct. 24, 2012.
