FORT WORTH, Texas, May 20 (UPI) —
Three people were injured early Monday in an incident in which a woman was set on fire in a Fort Worth, Texas, convenience store, police said.
The female assailant allegedly entered a Buy & Save Food Store and argued with the unidentified victim before dousing her with a flammable liquid and lighting her afire. Another woman, sitting with the victim, and a store clerk were also burned while attempting to help the victim, police said.
The attacker escaped and police have no description or other identifying information.
The primary victim was taken to Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas with life-threatening burns to 99 percent of her body. The two other victims were taken to Fort Worth hospitals with less severe burns, The Dallas Morning News reported.
