WAM GWANGJU, 28th August, 2013 (WAM) — A South Korean jet trainer crashed on Wednesday in the country’s southwestern city of Gwangju, killing the two pilots aboard, according to the Yonhap News Agency.
The T-50 jet trainer crashed at 2:08 p.m. local time on to farmland near the South Korean Air Force base in Gwangju, around 330 kilometers south of Seoul, the country’s capital. The incident killed the two pilots on board, a major and a captain, who had been conducting a flight training mission.
