July 22 (UPI) — Dozens of diamonds, team slogans, names and jersey numbers are typical features of Super Bowl rings, but the Los Angeles Rams’ new jewelry includes actual pieces of turf and the football from the title game.

Rams players and coaches received the unique rings at a private ceremony Thursday in Los Angeles.

The rings, designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, include 20 carats of white diamonds, which are set on yellow and white gold. The Rams said in a news release that the rings feature the most “diamond carat weight in championship ring history.”

One side of the ring features the name of each respective player or coach, the Rams logo and the slogan “We Not Me.” The other side features the score of Super Bowl LVI, a 23-20 triumph over the Cincinnati Bengals. That side also says “World Champions” and includes the Super Bowl LVI logo.

The top of the ring features a tiny version of the columns, which hold up the Rams’ SoFi Stadium, the host site for Super Bowl LVI.

The ring’s face features another Rams logo, two gold and diamond palm trees and the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The “LA” verison of the team logo is made from blue and yellow sapphires.

The top of the ring also twists off to reveal an inside depiction of SoFi Stadium. The field on the mini stadium consists of a remnants from the fields from the 2020 and 2021 seasons and from Super Bowl LVI.

The underside of that top features a piece of the Super Bowl LVI game ball.

“Most people don’t understand how immersed we become in the design process,” Jason of Beverly Hills CEO Jason Arasheben, said in the release.

“We are passionate about understanding the team, the season, and the city. We spent an entire day at SoFi Stadium. The first thing I said was, ‘What can you get me from the game? The field? Ball? What else?’ I didn’t just want it to be historical in design, but have physical elements from the event as well.”

The Rams will start their 2022 regular-season title defense with a game against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 8 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.(function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(d.getElementById(id))return;js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=’https://experience.ex.co/sdk.js’;fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}(document,’script’,’exco-sdk’));
