April 18 (UPI) — A posthumous EP of Prince music will be released on Friday, one year after his death.

The six songs on Deliverance were co-written and co-produced by Prince with frequent collaborator Ian Boxill between 2006 and 2008.

“I believe Deliverance is a timely release with everything going on in the world today and in light of the one-year anniversary of his passing,” Boxill said in a statement. “I hope when people hear Prince singing these songs it will bring comfort to many.”

The title track is available now on iTunes and Apple Music. The set is available for pre-order on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon. The EP will be released June 2.
