Miley Cyrus reveals she’s pansexual

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI) — Miley Cyrus recently revealed she’s pansexual to Elle U.K.

The 22-year-old American singer said she identifies as such in an interview for the magazine’s October issue. Cyrus previously told Paper she’s “literally open to every single thing … that’s legal,” but was reluctant to label her sexuality until now.

“I’m very open about it — I’m pansexual,” she disclosed. “But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.” Pansexual people are sexually and/or emotionally attracted to people of any sex or gender identity.

Word of Cyrus’ relationship status follows rumors the star is dating British model Stella Maxwell. The singer was first linked to the 24-year-old in June, and the pair were spotted kissing in July. They later posed together for W magazine’s September issue.

Cyrus last released Bangerz in October 2013, and completed her accompanying tour of the same name in October last year. The singer will host the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, and told the New York Times the ceremony will be “psychedelic” and “raw.”
