Nov. 14 (UPI) — A Maryland man scored a $150,000 prize from a Powerball drawing, marking his third big jackpot from the Maryland Lottery.
The Charles County man told Maryland Lottery officials he visits the NSR Mart/Corner Xpress store on Leonardtown Road in Hughesville about three times a week to buy Powerball and Mega Millions tickets.
The quick pick Powerball ticket he bought during one such recent visit ended up earning him a $150,000 prize in the Nov. 11 drawing when he matched four white balls and the Powerball.
“He’s no stranger to big lottery wins, having scored prizes twice on back-to-back $30 Pick 4 bets,” the Maryland Lottery said in a news release.
The winner said his prize money will go toward paying off credit card debt.
