June 22 (UPI) — Lorde discussed her new album Solar Power and the inspiration behind the project’s revealing cover while appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Colbert, on Monday, said that he wasn’t allowed to display the album art.

“CBS’ standards and practices will not let me hold up the album because ironically for an album called Solar Power, there’s a photo on it of where the sun don’t shine,” the late night host said.

The cover is a down-below shot of Lorde jumping over a friend while wearing a bikini on the beach.

“It’s a little hardcore but it was so joyful to me. It felt like innocent and playful and a little bit like feral and sexy,” Lorde said about the image.

“You’ve got to do it while you’ve go it you know,” she continued.

The 24-year-old also announced that will be joining Colbert soon for a performance at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.

Solar Power will be released on Aug. 20. Lorde recently released a music video for the project’s title track that featured the singer enjoying an active day at the beach.

Lorde will be embarking on a world tour in 2022 that will cover locations in the United States, Britain, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The tour begins on Feb. 26, 2022, at the Electric Avenue Festival in Christchurch, New Zealand before wrapping up on June 23, 2022 at the Verti Music Hall in Berlin, Germany. Tickets go on sale Friday.
