June 18 (UPI) — Fargo, Mr. Mercedes and Boardwalk Empire actor Jack Huston is set to star in the television adaptation of Janice Y.K. Lee’s novel, The Expatriates.
“Expats is an exciting reunion for me and Jack, who was the lead in my first feature Posthumous,” showrunner and director Lulu Wang, said in a statement Thursday.
“Jack is such a thoughtful, empathetic actor and I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to collaborate again.”
Nicole Kidman is a producer on the Amazon Prime Video project, which follows a catastrophic event in Hong Kong’s expatriate community.
Huston, 38, is also known for his roles in The Irishman, American Hustle, Ben-Hur and The Romanoffs.
