The virtual variety show will celebrate the Disney+ community of LGBTQ creators, employees and fans.
“At Disney+, we believe in the power of inclusive storytelling to bring us together and inspire us to live authentically,” Disney+ global head of marketing and content curation Joe Earley said. “We are committed to amplifying the voices of our LGBTQ creators and talent, and platforming content that reminds people to love loud – and sing louder – in this special event.”
Ann Marie Pace will direct the special, which raises awareness for GLSEN, a nonprofit working to end discrimination, harassment and bullying toward LGBTQ students.
West came to fame in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11. Kiyoko is a singer and actress who released her fourth EP in January 2020.
