BERKELEY, Calif., July 27 (UPI) — Before ‘Beast Mode’ unleashed in Seattle, he was scorching the PAC-12 for the University of California.

One of his infamous antics as a Bear was when he took a training cart from stadium staff and drove around the field, following a 31-24 overtime victory in 2006 against Washington.

Now the Bears are honoring Lynch, who ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns in that game, with a bobblehead, complete with training cart.

Cal will be giving away the keepsake on Nov. 5 against Washington. The Buffalo Bills picked up Lynch with the No. 12 pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. He rushed for 3,230 yards and 29 touchdowns on 490 carries in three seasons at California. Lynch, 30, retired in February after nine NFL seasons.
