The Syrian Army just landed a big fish, figuratively and literally. Video posted online shows the capture of “The Bulldozer,” a corpulent Islamic State executioner known for beheading and dismembering his victims, which included young children.
British papers like the UK Daily Mail had some fun describing the jihadi as a “20-stone executioner,” which means he weighs about 280 pounds.
Judging by the video of his flabby, topless bulk getting hauled into the back of a truck by his captors, that might be underestimating his weight a bit:
In happier times (for him, anyway), The Bulldozer was photographed beheading prisoners with a sword, looking like the world’s most unlikely ninja:
His real name has not yet been disclosed by the Syrian military, but he got his nickname by parading around with a Browning machine gun:
The Daily Mail reports ISIS has posted photos of The Bulldozer “beheading two suspected blasphemers in front of hundreds of men and young boys in Iraq’s Anbar province,” which he did by “leaping into the air before bringing the large sword crashing down onto the neck of his helpless victims.”
He is also known for killing and mutilating children, including a 14-year-old boy who was captured while fighting for an opposing rebel group, tortured for a month, and then deprived of his hand and foot by The Bulldozer’s blade, while a group of other children watched.
The New York Post reports he has also executed a 15-year-old boy for “listening to Western pop music.”
“Like British executioner Jihadi John — eventually unmasked as Mohammed Emwazi — the fat monster always wears a mask, fearful his identity will be revealed,” the UK Mirror wrote. However, the boy he maimed was reportedly able to capture images of him on a cell phone.
The Syrian Army has not yet specified exactly when, or where, they captured The Bulldozer. Australia’s News.com says he has been sighted plying his grisly trade in Iraq, Syria, and even Yemen. News.com also cites international media speculation that he is Iranian by birth.
