Breitbart’s Dr. Gorka: Tsarnaev Prosecutor Made ‘Absurd’ Claim That Boston Bomber Wasn’t Motivated By Religion

 

Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Breitbart News’ National Security Editor, appeared on Fox and Friends Sunday to talk about his experience serving as an expert in the Dzokhar Tsarnaev trial.

Tsarnaev was sentenced to death by a grand jury Friday for his role in carrying out the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Dr. Gorka, who also serves as the Major General Horner Chair of Military Theory at Marine Corps University, explained to Fox News that the prosecution was incorrect in characterizing Tsarnaev’s acts as not motivated by religion.

“As somebody who was brought in to study the case and to advise on the ideology of the perpetrator, its absolutely absurd to make a statement and perhaps it was done under political duress,” he explained.

This is an individual who had over 2,000 pages of jihadist literature, videos, audio tapes on his hard drive, which has been disclosed in court,” added Dr. Gorka.

“Also, the real smoking gun is the note… that he wrote in the boat just before he was captured.
