A domino show showcased this month in Gonabad, Iran, culminated in an “explosive” finale, with the falling dominoes launching a model missile into an Israeli flag to raucous applause.
The show, which occurred on February 16, first features Geneva and Paris as obstacles. Next is the Stuxnet virus, which destroyed “roughly a fifth of Iran’s nuclear centrifuges by causing them to spin out of control.” The builders also included assassinations, sanctions, the CIA, and threats as challenges presented to the Iranian dominoes. They also listed the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) and set the name ablaze–to huge cheers.
The destruction of the Israeli flag received the loudest applause. Not only did the dominoes fall, but the set-up launched a fake missile through the flag. At the end of the video, students are seen posing with the missile, which says “Muhammad the Messenger of Allah.”
The United States and Iran are currently in talks over the Islamic republic’s nuclear program. On Monday, a U.S. official said the two sides did “sharpen up some of the tough issues,” but admitted there is much more to be done. Talks will resume next Monday.
