ISIS now controls 325 of 354 villages near the Turkish border in northern Syria.

They captured their 325 village during the last two days and their advance on the Syrian city of Kobani continues.

Iraqi News reports that “the US-led coalition has launched several airstrikes on ISIS positions around Kobani,” but those strikes have failed to stop the militants’ advance.  On September 30 Breitbart News reported that a “massacre” of Kobani’s Kurdish inhabitants will likely follow the fall of the city.

One Syrian refuge who fled to Turkey reacted to ISIS ongoing advance by telling Iraqi News: “They’re killing us on the Turkish border; that makes us very angry. There’s no humanity from Turkey, no humanity from Europe or anywhere else in the world.”

Turkish President Recep Erdogan said he realizes Turkey is going to have to do its part to halt the ISIS advance. He said his country “will consider joining the military operations [now underway] in Iraq and Syria.”
