ISIS Using Social Media to Recruit Western Women to Help 'Populate' Islamic State

The Islamic State (ISIS) is using social media to lure Western girls to their self-declared “caliphate” in Syria and Iraq for the purpose of procreating with jihadists. Many of the women recruited are from Britain, Australia, and the United States.

“ISIS is recruiting these women in order to be baby factories,” said Mia Bloom from the Center for Terrorism and Security Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. “They are seeing the establishment of an Islamic state and now they need to populate the state.”

Minneapolis-St. Paul is home to one of the largest Somali communities in America. Terrorism experts put the area on alert in 2007, since the Somali terror group al-Shabaab recruits in the city. Recently, six families reported missing female relatives. Community leader Abdirizak Bihi said he does not know with certainty why the females left, but believes they may have left to join the Islamic State. At least one case is confirmed: a 19-year-old Somali woman told her family she was attending a bridal shower upon leaving the house, but instead flew to Turkey to join Islamic State terrorists. Officials said 15-20 men already left the Minneapolis-St. Paul community to join ISIS in Syria.

In April, authorities arrested 19-year-old Shannon Conley, who purchased a one-way ticket to the Middle East, at the Denver International Airport. She pleaded guilty to attempting to join a terror organization. She also admitted a male recruited her online to join ISIS.

British 16-year-old twins Salma and Zahra Halane ran away from their Manchester home to reunite with their older brother in Syria. One of the twins said she wanted to become a doctor to help the Islamic State. Australian Amira Karroum used social media to reach Aussie girls for the jihadists. She was killed in December. Two other girls, Austrian teenagers Sabina Selimovic, 15, and Samra Kesinovic, 16, left their homes to join the terrorist group. On social media, both young girls announced they were pregnant in Syria. There is no confirmation if the news is real.

“We have no independent confirmation that either of them are dead or alive, or that either of them are pregnant, although we suspect both are married,” said the Austrian police spokesman. “At the moment investigations are ongoing.”

Other women openly volunteer to engage in jihad al-nikah, or sexual jihad, with the ISIS fighters. The terrorists assure the women the premarital sex is acceptable because sexual jihad is a legitimate form of holy war. Malaysian authorities believe there are over 50 Malaysians with ISIS, many women.

“These women are believed to have offered themselves in sexual comfort roles to ISIS fighters who are attempting to establish Islamic rule in the Middle East,” said one source in Malaysia, adding, “This concept may seem controversial but it has arisen as certain Muslim women here are showing sympathy for the ISIS struggle.”

ISIS makes it no secret they need women to help their jihadists reproduce. In Raqqa, Syria, the terrorists created a marriage center where women register to become a wife for a jihadist. However, there are many women in the conquered towns who are forced into these positions against their will. Jihadists force the men to bring out the unmarried and married women in each household, where they are kidnapped and forced into sex slavery.

Breitbart News exposed women in the Islamic State who use social media to paint a pretty picture of life with terrorist husbands. The women show a united and happy front with their “sisters” and answer questions from Western women. The majority of them use Umm, which means mother in Arabic, in their Twitter handle. Many of the accounts have since been deleted, however.

There are reports ISIS kidnaps and murders Muslim women. A few women jumped on Twitter to dispute these claims.

I refuse to believe that dawlah have killed any women or children and im yet to see any solid proof
