Bulgarian officials have revealed that the bomber behind the July 18, 2012 attack at the Burgas airport was 25-year-old Mohamad Hassan El-Husseini.
Husseini held “dual Lebanese-French citizenship.”
According to BBC News, Husseini “blew up a bus in Bulgaria…killing five Israeli tourists and the driver,” and wounding more than 30 others.
Bulgaria initially blamed the attack on Hezbollah, but investigators now say “DNA analysis” links Husseini to the action. Investigators says Husseini “used a fake driving license under the name Jacque Felipe Martin.”
Last year Bulgarian officials said “Husseini’s alleged accomplices had direct links to Hezbollah.”
