North Korea Developing Drones – Based On US Drones Purchase In Middle East

Defense News reports that North Korea is developing drones based on Raytheon’s MQM-107D,  the so called Streaker target drones.  These are used by the US Army in training.  According to news reports, they got the drones by purchasing them from Syria.

The Streaker flies at 40,000 feet at a maximum speed of 575 mph.  It is used for missile testing. The North Koreans are apparently conducting tests by mounting high explosives on the drones.
