Political activist Cynthia Farahat appeared yesterday on Voice of America’s Straight Talk Africa to discuss the situation in Egypt amid the parliamentary elections there. She will be testifying before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission on December 7, in a hearing entitled, “Under Threat: The Worsening Plight of Egypt’s Coptic Christians.” Check back here at Big Peace for more coverage of that event.
