Earlier this week, Congressman Tom Marino from the 10th District in Pennsylvania gave a moving speech in an attempt to influence politicians to support the citizens on the east coast devastated by recent floods. What he did is was remarkable. He stood up, said exactly what needed to be said based on his experiences physically being with his constituents in these difficult times, and told politicians like Harry Reid to stop with the games.

Interestingly enough, while the Republican dominated House expeditiously passed the recently proposed bill to assist those ravaged with hell, the Democrat dominated Senate blocked everything intended to support American citizens.
These are the same democrats willing to ruin the careers of our best and brightest service members and CIA operatives engaged in interrogations, illegally send weapons to Mexico later used to take the lives of our border agents, and willingly support terrorists affiliated with Al Qaeda known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.
Citizens belonging to the Democratic Party need to take a good hard look at the political party they are associated with as do independents. The very people who swear up and down that they want to “help” each and every American have constantly failed us. Today, they have failed those impacted by the recent floods as people still suffer so much lost– even as a Congressman Tom Marino virtually shed tears trying to assist his constituents.
